Who gets the first Egg?

It should only be about a month until our chickens start laying eggs...  We finished up their coop this weekend and they finally started to go up into the coop!

A visit to Uncle Tom's campsite!

Sunday afternoon we went up to where Uncle Tom was camping...  It rained most of the way up & most of the time that we were there!  We ended up pulling their 4 wheelers home for them.

It only took me 2 or 3 hours to clean the truck.  I didn't ask Tom how long it took to clean up their mud!

Best Garage Sale find EVER!!!

A couple of weeks ago Russ found the best garage sale find EVER!!!  At first they just took turns flying around the yard....

when some of the cousins came over for a bar-b-que... it turned into a fun game!

Well I think I finally have this wall done...

I made this pillow to finish off the bed.

I found this cute table at a boutique... I just need to cut a piece of glass for the table top.

Now I've just got to start working on this half of the room.... I am thinking some kind of paint treatment on that wall.

Dinner and a Show!

Last night we had a fire to roast hotdogs for dinner.

We also did smores!!!

But mostly we sat around and watched Russ build our new chicken coop!  Good Times!

New Bed

Well everybody helped out and I did get to sleep in my new bed monday night!  It is a little taller and when I got up in the night it was a little farther to the ground than I expected!!!

Now all we (or I should say Russ) has to do is attach the drawer fronts to the boxes and add the drawer pulls!  I cant wait.  Meg and I put polyurethane on the drawer boxes last night so everything is ready to go!!!

Where oh where will I sleep tonight???

This is my room as of 7 am this morning... I am going to shampoo my carpet and I already wiped down the walls and vacuumed!

This is where my new furniture sits!!!!  Hopefully it will be done tonight so we will have a place to sleep.  There is not a better incentive than having NO bed to sleep in.  I guess there is always the guest bedroom... but don't tell Russ that!
