What a difference a day makes!

Friday night I had a couple of my good friends over and we crafted, ate great food and GIGGLED until the weee hour of  4 A.M.!!!  Needless to say I still got up at 8 a.m. to help with the workshop renovations!!!  I deserve a GOLD star!!!
Zack & Russ.
Russ decided that I needed a wall in the garage to separate my shop from the storage!  I cannot imagine why an inch of sawdust would bother him!!!  (It wasn't quite that bad!!!  Ok, maybe it was close!)   They framed the wall Friday night while I was busy GIGGLING with the girls!

Russ painting!  He assured me it would be brighter and repel the sawdust hanging onto the walls!
As usual he was right!  I still need to do ALOT of organizing... but I love it!  The scrap wood pile was getting as tall as me!!!  I am always more creative when I have a clean place to work!!!   Thanks babe (and kids)!  You are FABULOUS!!!

PROM 2009!

Is that Ben & Zack or the missionaries???  I think Zack's untied shoelace gives him away!
Sorry, this is the only un-blurry picture of Ben and his date Cory.  I will post the pict. from the dance later!
Some of the boys!
This is the only picture that Zack took!!!  I think I will shoot him!!!
What a gentleman!

How does your garden grow??

This is my favorite time of year!!! The days are longer, new flowers, and the ultimate smell... freshly cut grass!!!  Brayden has gotten the gardening bug this year!!  He begged to till the garden (TWICE!)  He is even mowing the lawn without being asked!  This is some of the fruits of his labor!!! Spring lettuce!!! I can't wait!

What a week!

What a crazy week!  I will warn you that this will be a lengthy post!
It all started last saturday when we went down to Mom's to do some jobs and yard work for mothers day!  The kids stayed to help, while Russ and I went to the Draper Temple to see Tom and his wife April and their son Logan sealed together!  What a neat experience!!! Congratulations!!!

Everyone weeding!!!

Sunday night it was our turn for Family night at our house.   After the lesson (Jeopardy game on Conference) we had these delicious Oreo cupcakes!!!  They were even creme filled!

Wednesday night was Brayden's pinewood derby!  He got to race his GREEN TRUCK twelve times!!!  He came in 1st once, 2nd a whole bunch, 3rd a whole bunch, and 4th a few times!  He placed 9th overall!  I hope all of the boys had a fun time!

Brayden and his TRUCK!

This race Brayden came in 2nd!!!

Finally, Friday night Russ and I went shopping. We  came across this purple shirt that would go with Zack's black suit for prom!   I think he would look very handsome!  What do you think???

it's a jungle in HERE!!!

My friend Teresa N. (aka the plant lady) recently emailed me to let me know that she had to get rid of some of the many house plants that she has.   I told her I was definitely interested and Russ and I picked them up last week.  Teresa always has unique and cool looking plants!  The tall one is a rubber tree!

The race is on!!!

We quickly found out that we were in the wrong place to take pictures of the egg hunt this year.  Everyone was too fast for the moms!  This was one of the few pictures of the actual hunt!!!
Morgan poses for the camera!  Notice Brayden's look of glee in the background!

Shopping Trip!

Cutest Owl (Are you jealous Laura???)  that I got @ Quilted Bear!  I LOVE this vendor!!! If you don't believe me just drive by my house!   I have been eyeing her for a while and it went on sale for 1/2 price!!! I couldn't pass it up!!!
Russ & I were shopping @ Costcos and came across this very unique and stunning tree... it was the only one and didn't have any info on it!  The Cosco guy said it was a pomegranate tree and was probably sent here by mistake!!!! We debated and figured if it didn't work out we could always bring it back!?!  It does smell pretty & several people commented on how unusual it was on our way out of the store... but now I am having buyers remorse!!!  IT is taller than I am, and it is only tolerant to 10 degrees (meaning we would have to bring it indoors each winter)!  Is it worth it???
