It's bigger than He is!

Brayden had an overnighter Friday night and Ben helped him pack his back pack... The thing ended up being bigger than he was!  BUT it only weighed 25 lbs.  Only 1/4 of Brayden's weight!  

Piano Recital

Morgan had her first recital on the 11th of this month.  She was very nervous and scared... but she did it and did such a great job that her teacher asked her to play in sacrament meeting this Sunday!

Here is the latest picture from Zack.  I love how green the grass is and the beautiful flowers.   He looks and sounds good. (in his letters)  Only one more month til Mother's Day!  We are going to try and SKYPE so we can actually see him!

Country Folk...

I guess that we can now officially be named "Country Folk".  We got our first (and only) batch of chicks about a week ago.

Brayden's friends have them and "they are soooo much fun!!!"  We will see.  He is officially in charge and is doing lots of research to raise them right!  They decided on two different breeds. (you will have to ask them which ones!)

Pippin didn't know what to think... they were peeping very loudly the night that they brought them home... he would get right up next to them until one pecked him... right after this picture.  Now he keeps his distance a little.  :)

We went opening day... and we all liked it!  It is violent but so is the book!  It does bring up topics to talk about!  :)

Great little baker!

Morgan got the funnest gift for Christmas... babycakes cupcake baker!   She has tried so many of the recipes from their cookbook and we have all enjoyed eating her creations.  They have been tasty and easy for her to make on her own.  The only mishap that we have had was when she added granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar in the icing!
