It's ALIVE!!!

Yeah!!!  Last March when Russ & I went to Hawaii, I purchased this very skinny, cucumber looking thing.   I was assured that all I had to do was bring it home stick it in some dirt and it would turn into one of the beautiful PLUMERIA bushes that they have growing all over Hawaii. I did what they said and after 3 months I gave up!!! I stopped watering it...I moved it out to the plant graveyard (the deck) and forgot all about it.  It worked!!! I now have a somewhat less scary plant that smells WONDERFUL!!!

After 3 1/2 long years... today I finally got my wish!!! I got to mow my own grass!!!!  It has been 3 weeks and 1 day since we hydro seeded.  I WILL ADMIT THAT I WAS WRONG (I know that it doesn't happen very often, so make a note of it!) I was all for seeding.  It would save us money and it doesn't make that much of a difference.  Again, I was wrong!  I am very impressed with how well our grass did.  It looks spectacular!!!

I'm so excited!  I was messing around with my vinyl cutter today and this is what I came up with!!!  It is in the hallway going into Megan's room.  I still have a few bugs to work out with the software but we are definitely getting closer!!

Grass Update!!!

I thought that I would give you an update on how our grass is growing...you can obviously tell how exciting my weekend was!!!  It has been 17 days since our yard was hydro seeded.  Hopefully we will be in need of a mowing next week.  I am so excited to be the first one to mow the lawn!!!  I know that it sounds weird..but I love to mow the lawn.  I haven't been able to do it for almost 4 years!!!  

Ben grows up!!

It is sooo weird to have an almost 18 year old in the house.  Ben is getting so grown up...I cannot believe that next year he will be old enough to go on his mission.  He is a senior this next month and I know the time will fly through this next year.

It's amazing how little boys concentrate...when they WANT to!

We had so much fun last night.  Erin planned the get together at mom's.  We just had a bbq and visited while the kids got wet!  A few of us snuck away to JoAnn's to get the cutest new scrapbooking stuff (thanks Laura, you always find so many "good things")!

What a find!!!

What can I say??? I don't have any cute pictures, or funny stories to tell...   All we did today is try to work on the stupid (sorry Chloe, I will wash my mouth out later!!!) old computer.  This is ending up to be a difficult task.   Needless to say I will be very excited when the reboot is complete, and I can use that comp. for cutting vinyl!!!  Oh yeah, I almost forgot!!! I haven't been garage saling (I have no idea how to spell that!!!) in almost two months, but this morning Russ & I went out.   I found a complete season 1 of ALIAS!!! For THREE dollars!!!  We ave watched 4 episodes so far!!! I had forgotten so much of it.
